URGENT UPDATE: Many Vendor Central (1P) sellers on Amazon are now reporting that Amazon is abruptly ending their Vendor relationship, with terminations effective as of November 9th. This sudden move has left brand owners and manufacturers, who supply products to Amazon as wholesalers, in a tough spot.
Amazon has a history of making unexpected decisions like this, which can be devastating for small businesses that aren’t ready to transition from being a 1P Vendor to a 3P Seller on Seller Central.
If you’ve received this notice, it’s critical to act fast. We’ve assisted other brands through this exact challenge and can help guide you through the transition. As mentioned in the video, please avoid rushing into setting up a new Seller Central account on your own without proper advice.

Here’s the message from Amazon:
We’ve decided to stop sourcing products from your company as part of our ongoing review of product offerings, and as part of a strategic realignment to optimize our operations and better serve customers. As of November 9, 2024, our vendor relationship will end. We will not engage in any new agreements or extend existing ones after this date.
However, if you wish to continue selling on Amazon, you’re welcome to list your products as an independent seller. You’ll still have access to the same customer base, along with various fulfillment options and tools designed to support your business and ongoing success.
If you don’t have a seller account, you can sign up today. We appreciate your support during this transition, and thank you for your understanding.
